About
Made by one engineer.
Not a company.
Hi, I'm Aaquib.
Mohammad Aaquib Jawed. AI and machine-learning engineer, writing production software since 2019. I design, build and support Bedaari myself.
The journey
I spent five years building production backends at Edcast, PropertyPistol and Norstella, across ed-tech, proptech and health-tech, before moving into machine learning. I finished an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of East London with a Distinction, and I teach its Machine Learning and Big Data labs.
Along the way I keep shipping small tools and contributing to open source, and I make short videos about developer tools at heyengineers.
Why Bedaari
Bedaari (بیداری) means wakefulness in Urdu and Persian. It started as Cursor Mover, a small free tool I shared openly, and grew into a proper app: a native menu bar and tray app that keeps your computer awake while presentations, downloads, renders and long jobs run, and steps aside the moment you touch the mouse.
How I build it
- Works offline. The app makes no network connections. Your license is checked on your own computer.
- Collects nothing. No analytics, no tracking, no account. See the privacy policy.
- Pay once. One price, every 2.x update included. No subscription.
- Try before you buy. Every feature is free for 14 days, so you only pay for something you know works for you.
- Careful details over long feature lists. It should do one job and do it well.
